Probate (Inheritance Tax) Valuations

Rowley’s recognizes the difficulties and challenges executors and trustees face when administrating an estate. Our experience in dealing with the complexities of probate valuations and subsequent sales has led us to an approach with one aim; to complement and assist the work of the executor. We deliver a prompt, professional and confidential service and will arrange the valuation, collection, storage and sale of a single item or an entire house contents. The key points of our probate service are:

- Assistance in identifying specific bequests
- Advice on the level of insurance cover required
- Insurance cover on unoccupied property
- Removal of vulnerable items to our secured, alarmed and fully insured premises
- A complete house clearance service, including the disposal of unsaleable items
- Client’s monies are ‘ring fenced’ and treated with the highest probity
- Prompt payment of sale proceeds, normally 14 - 21 days after each sale
- Concise and clear paperwork including a final statement summary
- All valuations and supporting records are stored in total confidence
